Random things about me that make me interesting outside of work

  1. I lived in Taiwan for two years

    I moved to Taiwan when I was 18 years old to serve as a missionary for the LDS (Mormon) church. I'm near fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

  2. I won a natural men's physique competition

    Trained over 5 years to sculpt my physique. And yes, I had to get a spray tan on show day!

  3. I'm an Eagle Scout

    Spent 8 years in the Boy Scouts and achieved the highest ranking.

  4. I've memorized pi to 120 digits

    When I was 12 years old, I had a competition with a friend to memorize pi. I won.

  5. I'm open water scuba certified

    I have scuba dived in Mexico, Thailand, Hong Kong, and a volcanic pit in Utah.

  6. I went to Space Camp

    When I was 12 years old, I saved $1,000 so I could go to Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama.
